Overview

We understand the importance physical education and school sport have in developing the whole child. Our vision is to inspire a generation to hold deep the values of friendship, excellence and respect. Our aim is to challenge each child to reach their full intellectual, creative and physical potential. We aim to develop a sense of personal health and well-being and a desire for lifelong participation in physical activity or competitive sport.

 

This year we will have the following experts in school to teach the children and deliver CPD to the staff:

October - Rugby KS2 & Multi skills EYFS & KS1

March-Swimming Gala & Gymnastics (whole school)

May - Football (Longhorsley Cup)

June - Football (Whalton Cup)

July      - Cricket KS2

 

Year 5 have had the following competitions with Ponteland Sports Partnership:

Football

Netball

 

This year the following after school clubs are offered at PAWS:

Autumn 2 - Dance (Cheryl Day)                                        

Spring 1   - Football (Ryan Jobson)

Summer 1 - Basketball (Chris Applewhite)

Summer 2 - Cricket (Matthew Senior)
