Our Sport

We understand the importance physical education and school sport have in developing the whole child. Our vision is to inspire a generation to hold deep the values of friendship, excellence and respect. Our aim is to challenge each child to reach their full intellectual, creative and physical potential. We aim to develop a sense of personal health and well-being and a desire for lifelong participation in physical activity or competitive sport.

This year we will have the following experts in school to teach the children and deliver CPD to the staff:

  • Helen & Ashlee (Swimming Instructors from Ponteland Leisure Centre)

February 2017 - Swimming Gala with Longhorsley & Cambo schools

November 2016- Ponteland Inter Schools Year 4 Badminton competition

October 2016 - Cambo Football Tournament/Rugby Tournament for KS2/Multi-skills Tournament for Reception & KS1

July 2016- Cricket Festival at Blagdon/Kirkley Hall Cricket Club. Cambo Football Tournament.

June 2016- Ponteland Year 3 Tennis Challenge at Ponteland Tennis Club. Orienteering at Wallington for KS2. Whalton Football Tournament

May 2016-Skipping Festival for all children at Morpeth Riverside Leisure Centre/Sponsored Fun Run at school.

March 2016-Swimming Gala for all children at Willowburn Leisure Centre, Alnwick.

October 2015 - Cambo Football Tournament/Rugby Tournament for KS2/Multi-skills Tournament for Reception & KS1
