Dear Parents and Carers,
The Staff and Governors are pleased to welcome you to Whalton C. of E. Aided Primary School, part of the Federation of Longhorsley and Whalton C of E Schools. If your child is joining us for the first time, we look forward to beginning a happy and successful relationship. If you already have or have had a child at Whalton School we are pleased to renew our partnership with you.
We want you to feel involved in the life of the School because it is through a secure partnership between staff and parents that children thrive and achieve their full potential. We work in close partnership with both the Pele Trust in Ponteland and The Three Rivers Trust in Morpeth to ensure the best journey for your children.
Prospective parents are welcome to visit us in order to enhance further any information you may seek about our school. Please make an appointment with Miss White in the office and do not hesitate to contact me with any concerns or queries.

Well done to our Year 5 & 6 SSOC leaders for their planned games and events for Class 1 today! 🌟 #youngsportleaders
Well done Class 1 who have participated in #hoopstars this afternoon! Straight back to school to show us what they’ve been up to! 👏🏻
In Computing, 👨🏼💻 Class 3 have been coding, creating an algorithm for the Code Bugs to determine whether an object is a conductor or insulator. Not only did this test our computing skills, but our Science knowledge too! 👩🏼💻 🌟
A mutual feeling, across the Federation, for sure! 🤩 📚

In Computing, Class 3 are CodeBug crazy! This week, we have been using logical reasoning to explain how algorithms work; detecting and correcting algorithms to create ‘fortune tellers’. Lots of fun and laughter was had, as we asked our CodeBugs about the future! 💡 #codingforkids
