The children are taking part in weekly story based yoga sessions aiming to help them keep fit and healthy, improve their coordination and confidence, and teach them the skill of relaxation. They learn to listen carefully, follow instructions and engage with a story.

They begin with a warm up to music and are then led through a story, using yoga postures as the actions for the story. The stories are a mix of well known picture books and my own stories specially written for yoga. The sessions end with a few minutes relaxation, helped along by a teddy on their tummy, often the part the children love the best!
