Preschool
At preschool, every day brings something new.
We pride ourselves on fun, professional, nature inspired childcare, tailored to the needs of every child, every day.
Our days are made up of play, play and play. A fun and caring setting allows children to feel they are somewhere they are meant to be – free to make choices, make mistakes, share discoveries, and build friendships.
PAWS might be small, but we are broadminded. We explore life and culture through music, literature, dance, exercise, and food. We teach children about the world, as well as what’s on their doorstep. And what a doorstep – open green spaces and beautiful countryside. We get our boots muddy as often as we can.
With a quick hop over to our primary school, our children frequently get a sneak peek into what big school has to offer. We know and love our village too and often work together.
Our wraparound childcare is planned around you. With breakfast club, preschool and a flexible after school club, we want to provide a home from home that makes every day a little easier.
Preschool is open Monday to Thursday 9:00am to 3:00pm and Friday Forest School 9:00am to 12:00pm and costs £5.50 per hour.

Breakfast club
Some fun and food before school, and a chance to start the day your own way. Breakfast club is a lovely chance to ease ourselves into the day over a wholesome breakfast. We offer porridge, fruit, cereals and toast – all the fuel kids need for the busy day ahead.
After school club
A chance to squeeze a bit more out of the day while you wrap up your own commitments. Whether you need an extra hour to beat the traffic home or a chance to put in a full day’s work, we will keep kids entertained until they are ready to drop!
Summer school holiday club
We run a summer holiday club for families looking for some healthy fun and a bit of structure during the summer break.
